Dotdash
Morse code translator with vibration and lamp playback, chart and trainer.
Dotdash translates text to Morse code and Morse code to text, and plays it back as vibration and as a flashing on-screen lamp.
Type a message and the Morse appears as you type. Switch direction to read Morse: tap the dot and dash keys with letter and word gaps, or paste code that uses dots, dashes or similar symbols. Characters with no Morse equivalent are listed so nothing is dropped silently.
Playback uses standard international timing based on the word PARIS. Set the character speed from 5 to 40 words per minute, and use Farnsworth spacing to send each character at full speed with longer gaps between characters and words.
Learn by ear with the trainer. A character is sent by vibration and lamp, and you pick which one it was. Characters are added in the Koch order used by many Morse courses, the ones you miss come up more often, and Dotdash suggests the next character once you get over 90% right.
